OSPF (Open Shortest Path First)

A link-state routing protocol used inside an organization’s network: routers exchange link information, form neighbor adjacencies and compute the shortest path to every destination.

In REAP

OSPF neighbor state (FULL, DOWN, EXSTART and the rest) is standard evidence in an investigation: a neighbor that never changed state rules out the link, as in the Investigation Window on the home page.
