Pre-execution validation
Checks performed before any action runs: redundancy, reachability, security policy and dependencies, with the reasons shown and blast-radius limits enforced.
In REAP
One of the five analyst requirements; syntax checking alone does not qualify. In REAP: proposed changes are assessed before execution against topology, reachability, security policy and known CVEs, and runbook steps run behind a confirmation.
