Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want every network leader, engineer and evaluator to be able to use this site, whatever tools they use to browse it. This statement describes the standard we work to, what we have done, and how to reach us when something falls short.

Our standard

REAP aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA across reapnet.ai. Accessibility is part of the design system every page is built from, so improvements apply site-wide rather than page by page.

What we have done

  • Semantic structure on every page: one main landmark, a skip link, labelled navigation, ordered headings and a visible breadcrumb trail.
  • Keyboard support throughout (menus, accordions, the site search, forms and the value calculator) with visible focus states.
  • Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA on text and controls; information is never conveyed by color alone (status pills carry text).
  • Text that scales to 200% without loss of content; layouts that reflow to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
  • Alternative text on informative images and diagrams, and descriptive labels on icon-only controls; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms with associated labels, inline error messages announced by screen readers, and no time limits.
  • Reduced-motion preferences respected; no autoplaying media; no content that flashes.
  • External links announce that they open in a new tab.

Known limitations

  • Documentation preview. The engineering documentation pages are a preview under review; some tables are wide and rely on horizontal scrolling inside the table container.
  • Downloadable documents. The white paper and RFP kit are produced as tagged Word and PDF files; complex tables in the PDF may read out of order in some readers. Ask for an alternative format and we will provide it.
  • Third-party pages. Links to partner, standards and vendor sites lead to content we do not control.

Testing

Pages are checked in the build with automated rules (structure, contrast, labels, focus order) and reviewed by hand with keyboard-only navigation and a screen reader on desktop and mobile. The date of the most recent full review is shown below.
